Astana International Airport celebrates Nauryz

On March 22, 2012 there was organized ceremonial event devoted to the national holiday "Nauryz".  The event was organized by Astana International Airport  (hereinafter – Airport) together with the union of airline workers of  Airport,  Line Department of  Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the department of border controls, RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia" and LLC «Air service Astana». These enterprises conducted a concert program, where more than 40 performances and 9 sport demonstration events were presented, among which there were the performances of Chechen-Ingush public association, the Ukrainian public organization "Obereg" and the Society of the Cossacks. Suburban Chairman of  Esil District, Chairman of regional branch NDP "Nur Otan"  of Esil District   S.S. Mustafina, First Deputy Chairman of NDP "Nur Otan" of the Esil district J.M. Shakenov,  Deputy of City Maslikhat and President of JSC "International Airport  Astana" K.K. Zhauhanov were among the guests of the big event.  Guests of the festival, nearly 500 people tasted the national dishes and refreshments in the hospitable Kazakh yurts. 70 participants of the concert programs, and sport contests were awarded with valuable gifts and thank-you letters from JSC "International Airport Astana" and union airline workers of JSC. Excellent creative perfomances, delicious cuisine and high spirit - that is a holiday of spring and renewal - "Nauryz", which was celebrated at Prigorodny settlement.  Conducting national holidays and public cultural events is one of the priorities in the social policy of the capital airport.
