Astana International Airport held a regular annual event “Get the children ready for school!”
In September 2nd, 2011 at the secondary school № 24 (Prigorodnyi settlement) in the framework of event “Get the children ready for school!” a gifts giving ceremony to pupils was held. JSC “International Airport Astana” carries out this promotion every year to help orphans and children from needy families and families with one breadwinner. If in 2010 the airport has provided material support for 30 children, then this year the number of children increased to 40. Last year airport has provided children with the necessary school packs: knapsacks, books and stationery. This year it was decided to give children the clothes and shoes from the “Adidas” shop, so necessary for physical activity. Providing charity care is one of the main trends in social policy of the capital airport.

According to data of RGP "Kazaeronavigatsia" we would like to inform you that on August 26, 2011 due to the training flights of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the preparation for the celebration of Constitution Day of Kazakhstan in Astana airport have forced restrictions on landing and take-off of aircrafts from 10:30. am to 13:30 pm Astana time.
